After a lovely day out, you can relax on your private terrace with a snack and a drink. This cabin is located on a friendly family campsite in a forested area: Recreatiepark Klein Zwitserland.

The Campsite
You’ll feel right at home at this campsite. For children, there is a swimming pool on-site, which is always a big hit (open from April and during summer). The campsite also offers full Wi-Fi coverage. There is a restaurant with a terrace, as well as a takeaway kiosk along the forest path for coffee, tea, ice cream, and light snacks.

Surroundings
From the cabin, you can easily make trips to many attractions and sights across the provinces of Overijssel and Drenthe. The surrounding area is perfect for walking and cycling, but you’ll also find charming towns and cities worth visiting. Places like Giethoorn, Hoogeveen, Meppel, and Staphorst are nearby, and larger cities such as Almelo, Assen, and Zwolle are also within easy reach. Just 1.5 km from the cabin, there’s a beautiful large swimming lake with a beach. You can enjoy activities like paddleboarding, canoe rental, and even take diving lessons. Just outside the village, there’s also a nice sauna complex with a swimming pool, restaurant, and a unique stalactite cave sauna.
